1. Clairmont Farms, Los Oilivos, California - USA
Clairmont Farm is a family owned lavender farm. Located in the Santa Ynez Valley in Los Olivos. There are five acres of the Grosso variety lavender, known for its healing quality. The fields are breathtakingly beautiful with the backdrop of the Santa Ynez Mountains. Three hundred year old oak trees dot the grounds. Filmmakers, photographers and painters arrive each year and apply their craft. The driveway is lined with olive trees that were planted by the Spanish Missionaries over 175 years ago.
Our farm is entirely organic. We harvest in the time honored method of cutting each plant by hand, drying the bunches, separating them from the stalks by hand. We then use a simple sifting process to clean the buds. The resultant oil, distilled in copper, is a combination of delightful fragrances to the nose. Used for centuries, lavender is the best-known herb for its medicinal and healing properties. Many other species of lavender grow on the farm. Organic culinary lavender is also offered.
In addition to our essential oil, we also offer a complete line of lavender based personal care products, homemade soaps, etc. Located at 2480 Roblar Ave in Los Olivos California , the farm in open to the public from 10 am to 6 pm daily. Tours take place each day with no charge. Visitors are welcome to stroll through the fields, picnic and shop in our boutique located next to the fields.

Nestled on a hillside in Rainbow, California just 15 minutes east of Fallbrook and two miles south of Temecula in an unincorporated area of North San Diego County. On our nine acre farm you can see the largest collection of lavender varieties in California and other Medicinal and Culinary herbs growing in their natural setting which is similar to the Mediterranean in climate, elevation and soil.
A trip to Rusty Acres will provide you with a relaxing and educational adventure but without the crowds of your local theme park. In North San Diego County there is still some secluded farm land and the valley in Rainbow is still untouched by the hustle and bustle of modern day. You can sit on the 1500 foot elevated patio and bring your lunch to enjoy while you smell the herb gardens and see many species you have never seen growing in a natural setting.
At the farm the Gift Shop features all the estate grown products produced at the farm. Buy unique gifts such as herbal-infused vinegars and oils, fragrant soaps, freshly dried culinary herbs, and lots of other Lavender products. The plant nursery sells herbs and lavenders all year and features Heirloom tomato plants in the Spring and Fall. The recently self published cook book “Lavender Cuisine” will not only teach you to cook with lavender but is a good reference book for lavender. Jim and Judi Brady who own this interesting little farm are convinced that people need to get away and relax and what better way to relax than to than to sit and smell the lavender grow. In addition to our regular hours, we have special "Garden Viewing Days". These are days filled with additional crafts
and activities, and also give visitors a chance to see the Lavenders in pre-season full bloom, and harvest conditions.

Though facilities are limited, The Garden's are available to rent for small weddings and gatherings, picnics,
senior outings, or any of your celebrated special events. If you’re looking for a unique and memorable afternoon why not
have tea in the Garden’s center gazebo, or just laze around the lavender and relax on the hammock amongst the blooms.
Special garden tours, school field trips and gatherings may be arranged for small to medium sized groups.

Peak Viewing Times:
Though our Lavender Gardens are always beautiful, late May - though July/early August is the best time for viewing
our gardens in full bloom. After that becomes our harvest time. After harvest, our plants do remain very
attractive even when they may be with out the blooms of flowers.
Monty Holmes and his wife Pat, are the managers of the Young Living farm near St. Maries, Idaho. Monty and Pat were successful in overcoming the challenges of the land, but the story only begins there. Those who know Monty and Pat recognize them as veritable heroes.
Blue Heron Lavender Farm is a life's dream in the making. Three years ago, a newspaper reporter named Kate Jackson Anderson and a friend, on a whim, caught a ferry to Washington State's Olympic Peninsula to attend the Lavender Festival in Sequim. There, they found fields of blooming lavender, warm new friends and inspiration. Sequim's climate, it turns out, mirrors that of Provence, France, home to legendary expanses of world-famous lavender. And because it sits in the rain shadows of the Olympic Mountain Range, Sequim also is among the driest places in the state, good for Mediterranean plants such as lavender.
