Thank you for looking after me so well on my first holiday away from my family. As I am only a nine month old beagle it was all so very new to me to go on my first sleep over away from my Mum and Dad and brothers and sister. Mum and Dad thought I was such a good boy when I got home, so calm and relaxed. I think Mum might even send me back for another wee holiday if I keep being so help full around the house, I have been bringing in the washing for her (not to sure why she seems a bit grumpy about it though?) Thanks again for such a great time, hope to be back soon for my next stay.

Dear Max,
Thank you for your e mail. Sorry I have taken so long to reply, but my owners really monopolise the computer. Well they are out now, and I would like to say that Rosie and I had a fantastic time at Whitebay....all those walks...and all those friends to meet and practice different barks with! We will persuade them to bring us back at the drop of a bone! (Hopefully they will be away again soon!)
Ooops I can hear them coming home now, so I will leave the computer and pretend I have been in my own bed all evening (little do they know that Ihave been on theirs!)
Luckily I don't dribble on the keyboard, as mum spent over $300 getting my teeth sparkling!

Dear Whitebay

Thanks so much for my stay, I was certainly a happy dog when my Mum and Dad saw me again.  They said you are the best boarding kennels they've seen in New Zealand - clean, relaxed, warm and a friendly carer who clearly loves dogs. The exercise option is fantastic and you are the first kennels to offer this option - superb.  They will certainly be recommending Whitebay to others and say you can use this reference on the website, no problem.

Hi Max
Bree the Golden Retriever here - just a quick note to thank you for caring
for me so well over the past four weeks.  I am settling back into my usual
routine now - and while it is really neat to be home with my folks and near
my best friend Zebedee, I have to tell you that I really loved my holiday
with you.  Thanks for all the walks and swims and the runs and nice tucker.

Hi Max,
Thankyou for having me to stay for 5 whole days..I thought I would be
miserable and miss my owners and my buddy at home, though he is a very
elderly Jack Russel who is deaf so he never knows where I am and always gets
a fright when I bounce up behind him. I loved meeting so many new friends,
because I am so big I never thought the smaller dogs would be brave enough
to play with me, AND even sneak into my enclosure when you weren't looking!!
It is nice to be home though and I had a huge sleep last night.
When my owners go away again I will be back to stay.

Thank you for your email. I really did enjoy my stay but it's always great to see Mum & Dad, even if they do make me sit in the back of the car and not on their laps. Mummy was very tired when she picked me up and as well as forgetting her EFTPOS card she also forgot my food container and measuring cup. I'll pick these up next time I'm with you on 13th March - please don't let Mummy forget them again!!

I am going a little grey around the muzzle, but apart from that life's a
ball. The other day I caught a baby rabbit and to dads disgust ate it
whole!! Had furry poos for a week.
Can't wait for dad to go away so I can have some one on one time with the

Hmmm, that was daunting - staying in a Kennel for the first time... Pretty intimidating too, all those barking dogs... But hey, once everything was settled down I really found my place.  Liz and Max looked after me like a princess.  I got to go for little walks, my home was clean, the food was excellent and I ended up making friends with some of the other dogs. I also enjoyed listening to the radio they had playing and that lavender smell was simply divine.  Thanks Liz and Max.  I will request to stay with you next time my boring owners take off again on one of their silly trips!

Dad took me down the vets last Wednesday and the nice lady stuck a long glass thing up my arse. It must've showed something as the next thing I get a needle in my rump and squirts of foul smelling stuff up BOTH nostrils. And for this, the misery gave me a miniscule piece of dried liver!!

I was so pissed off with Dad, I didn't speak to him for three whole days and he got a good view of my rear end.

Can't wait to be back there where you get treated like the noble animal we are!!
