What is Dropshipping?
Dropshipping is where someone sells a product and asks a third party to ship direct to their customer. In this case you would advertise our products on your website or auction site etc. When the item sells and you have received payment from your customer you place the order through us, give us your customers details and we'll send the order direct to your customer. The idea is that you sell the item for more than we would charge you and the difference is your profit.
Why should I use a dropshipping service?
Many people use dropshipping for different reasons. The main reasons include lack of space to physically store their own stock, lack of time to fulfill orders (or simply would prefer not to) or don't want to buy stock that they may not be able to shift. With dropshipping you don't buy the stock until you've sold it so you don't need to store products and fulfill orders and risk buying stock that you can't sell.
What prices will I pay?
Prices on the Whitebay Website are “Farm Gate” prices. Retail minimum price is 50% above “Farm Gate” price. That would mean for a $10.00 product on our website a retailer should sell it for $15.00. Dropshipping members have access to our “Dropshipping Website” by accessing the pass worded gateway here (remember to use your approved Dropshipper password). Prices on this website are 25% less than on the Whitebay Website. On the Dropshipping Website this same item would cost you $7.50. Therefore if you wished to sell at the recommended retail price of $15.00 you would make 100%. All prices include Goods and Service Tax.
How long does delivery take?
We ship all products the next working day at the latest. Depending on the time we receive the order, we may be able to ship your order the same day. All orders are sent first class so typically arrive at a New Zealand destinations within 2-3 working days. International deliveries take around 14 to 20 working days. We use NZ Courier Post within New Zealand and New Zealand Post for overseas deliveries. We have a Track and Trace facility on our front page.
Where can I obtain product images?
You can take product images direct from our website as long as you are using them only for the purpose of advertising our products. Use this site for images. All photos remain the property of Whitebay Lavender Ltd. If you require pictures to be sent via email then we can arrange this. We can also send you photos on a CD for a small charge.
Dropshipping Purchases
Our website is set up so that if you are an accepted (by us) then dropshipping prices shown to you (in any currency) on our website are lower than those shown to the public. When you have been accepted and you log in the prices shown are automatically reduced. You mush have a company tax ird number to be considered a dropshipper.

Simply click here and remember to include your company name and tax IRD number.
How are returns and refunds handled?
Your customer may send any unwanted items back to us directly for a replacement or refund. If they require a refund then we will refund you who must then refund your customer. Depending on the circumstances, we reserve the right not to refund postage costs.
What are your shipping prices?
Our site will automatically calculate the shipping cost for your order. Typically, New Zealand orders attract a NZ$6.00 standard cost and international orders start at NZ$13.00. These prices are exactly the same as New Zealand Post.
What is your membership fee?
We do not have a membership fee.
What is your minimum order?
We do not have a minimum order. Many orders are just one item and we are happy to oblidge.
How do I place an order?
- Enter the Dropshipping Website through the pass worded gateway below.
- Fill in “Create an Account”. Skip this step if registered.
- Place your customer’s order
- Fill in your name as the purchaser.
- Go to “Account Information” and insert your customer’s address.
- Make payment through credit cards (Visa, Mastercard or Amex) PayPal Bank Transfer, or Personal Cheque.
- You should get immediate confirmation through email.
How do I know you will not run out of stock?
All products on our website are stock controlled. When a product runs out of stock you will be notified as you make the order. If there is a glitch and you are not told of a product running out of stock your credit card will not be debited until we receive your advice.
Are all products on this site authentic?
Whitebay Lavender Ltd have been trading for nearly fifteen years. We have over 350 people on our newsletter list. Ask any other large lavender farm about our credibility. Max is also a publisher and produces several thousand copies of The Hawke’s Bay Trader every week. We would be pleased to forward you a list of satisfied customers if you required one. Remember, if anyone is unhappy with any purchase - then simply return it to us.
Do you include your company details with the order?
No. The whole point of dropshipping is that the customer should believe that the product came from you. We are required by the Post Office to include our return address. Our products all have our name and address on them as would be expected. It is not feasible or safe to you to remove all of our addresses and contact information. If you had a shop and were selling retail the products would have the manufacturer’s details on it.
Can I include my company details on the delivery note?
Yes. We recommend that a letter or receipt from you accompany the order. This can easily be emailed to us when you order. The whole idea is that this delivery is from YOU via our farm in New Zealand.
What is your guarantee?
If, for any reason your customer is not completely satisfied with their purchase they can return the item with your full purchase documentation to us with an explanation for the return and we will give a full refund (excluding postage). No questions asked. For returns please phone, fax or email and we will be pleased to assist you.
