The Brebner Print Art Deco Weekend is a national party. The first function on the programme is free!

Bring a picnic, a blanket and you wicker basket full of cucumber sandwiches and lamingtons. Don't forget your glad rags darling. Wouldn't want to feel undressed would we?

Here on the day will be Nicole, Elin (Sweden), Rachael, Maiko (Japan), Sarah (England), Liz, Sharni, Max and Allan. Absent are Marek (Checkoslovakia), Nanette, Emma, Joy, Katie, Rya (Japan), Haley and Emma.

Our signature dishes include Lavender Marinated Beef Kebabs and baked lavender bread loaf stuffed with silver beet, cream cheese seasonal vegetables and our own Whitebay Herbs de Provence.

Betrtie and Penelope will be there and they have a few official functions, what... Well we did vote him on the Napier Council to help along Art Deco, didn't we?

You just have to get dressed up. Don your best summer Deco ensemble and come strut your stuff. Lots of fun to be had. Great music. Bring a camera and sun block. This is where you meet your fellow Decoholics and warm up for February 13th to 19th.

We are expecting over 70 vintage cars this year. Lured by free ice creams for those in vintage cars. The Hawke's Bay Ford Model A Club will have it as a club run and perhaps an award for the best dressed driver or passenger.

Max is a member of the Hawke's Bay Vintage Car Club and hopes that a lot of members roll up driving their cars of yesteryear. Just looking at the vintage cars on show is worth the trip to Eskdale.
