1. La Paix Herb Farm, West Virginia - USALa Paix Herb Farm has many display gardens featuring medicinal, culinary, tea, fragrance herbs and heritage vegetables. Workshops and Tours are conducted in the Spring, Summer and Fall months. The shop contains herb products and books. La Paix's emphasis on sound environmental practices includes organic growing techniques and principles, use of only natural products and environmentally friendly packaging. The gardens include lavender plants to supply the essential oil distillery. In the Spring of 2004, large plantings of peppermint and more lavender will be cultivated for further distillation. Extensive wood walks enhance the herbal journey at La Paix.
