21. The Lavender Patch, Victoria - Australia
Our farm was established ten years ago when Mario decided he would like to work in a less stressful environment. We're very fortunate to be able to work at something that gives us so much pleasure. We chose the Lavender Farm because we really have enormous belief in the qualities of Lavender. I always carry a small bottle of essential lavender oil everywhere I go. It's my first aid kit, and I love the smell. We started from scratch and now have 9,500 lavandula x-intermedia plants in the ground which we harvest for the dry flower. Our farm is a very special part of our lives and we love sharing it with our visitors. For our visitors' pleasure we've included a Gift Shop and a Tea room. Because we like to share our knowledge we also have a Plant Nursery specialising in lavender plants and perennials, and we're happy to give advice when requested.
