1. Downderry Nursery, Kent - England
Downderry is a sensual experience always worth a visit. Set in the peaceful beauty of an old walled garden, Downderry is home to the National Plant Collections ® of Lavender and Rosemary in Kent. But we are more than custodians of these astonishing plants.
2. The Lavenders, National Collections - UK
Welcome to the web site of one of the National Collections of Lavandula in the UK. There are at present four other collections of Lavandula held at various locations in the country under the auspices of The National Council for the Conservation of Plants and Gardens. This particular collection near Nottingham reflects an interest in the species lavenders, many of which are not frost hardy. Lavenders are classified currently into eight sections though most of the plants in general cultivation are from three of these sections.
