1. Devon Lavender - England
Devon Lavender is a new family business run by Jonathan and Jane Watts. Based in Farringdon, near Exeter in Devon we have planted out four acres of a lavender known to produce the highest quality oil. Our aim is to produce this oil by steam distillation on site for use in our products. We have taken an impression of a fresh lavender flower straight from the field and used it to emboss our modern design of soap. We were followed earlier this year by a BBC film crew for "Inside Out" while we were starting up this business. The programme was shown regionally on 11th October 2004 and gave an insight into the effort involved in turning Devonshire soil and sunlight into premium quality lavender oil!

2. The Lavender Pot, Dorset - England
The Lavender Pot ˜ Lavender in Art "The Lavender Pot" company was established in the year 2000,working from a studio set in a 3 acre Lavender garden in New Zealand, the flower designs being botanical representations of the Lavender being grown. The designs and artwork are all original hand-paintings produced by Sandra Gee. The company transferred to the UK in 2005
